ABSTRACT:

This version of Filer corrects inaccurate numbers being reported by Volume
Information with volumes over 2 GB.  The Filer included is the same as the
file included with NetWare 3.12.

SYMPTOM

     When reviewing Volume Information in Filer, numbers shown are negative,
     or otherwise inaccurate.

TROUBLESHOOTING

     This problem only occurs on volumes over 2 GB.

CAUSE

     The use of a signed long integer to hold volume information as oppose to
     a unsigned long integer.

SOLUTION

     Use Filer 3.76 to solve this problem.

     Installation Instructions:

     1.   Use the same support files for this new Filer as for the version
          used in NetWare 3.11.

     2.   Flag FILER.EXE SRW, and rename the file.

     3.   Copy this new Filer program, and flag it SRO (syntax FLAG FILER.EXE
          SRO).
