DR-MOUSE POP-UP MENU LIBRARY
DR-MOUSE provides 14 pop-up menu utilities for the
most popular non mouse-based application packages,
which are:
DR-123.MNU -- LOTUS 123(Version 1.0 and later)
DR-1232.MNU -- LOTUS 123(VERSION 2.0 and later)
DR-DB.MNU -- dBase III PLUS
DR-DOS.MNU -- MS-DOS or PC-DOS
DR-WP.MNU -- Word Perfect
DR-WS.MNU -- Word Star
DR-FM.MNU -- FrameWork
DR-MP.MNU -- MultiPlan
DR-SYM.MNU -- SYMPHONY
DR-PE2.MNU -- Personal Editor
DR-VC.MNU -- VisiCalc
DR-PC.MNU -- PC Tools
DR-TREE.MNU -- X-Tree
DR-ED.MNU -- EDLIN
Install procedure:
1. Install the DR-MOUSE driver -
File name: DRMOUSE.COM
2. Use test program to set DR-Mouse into PC Mouse
mode to activate all 3 mouse buttoms:
File name: TEST.COM
3. Switch on the Pop-up Menu by file MENU.EXE -
Example: MENU DR-123
The Pop-up Menu is ready after the "MENU ON!"
message appears on the screen.
4. Start the application program. Now the mouse
can handle most of the commands and controls
which you previously use the keyboard to do the
job.
Basic description:
Cursor control -
By moving the mouse, the cursor can be controlled
to all the directions within definition under the
application program.
Buttom definition -
Left buttom -- "ENTER" key
Mid buttom -- "Esc" key
Right Buttom -- Main menu display
Each buttom also has its further definition
under each Pop-up menu utility for their
application programs(e.g. the left button can
be used as the "/" on the keyboard in Lutos
123).
If you want to modify/and add new function to the pop-up
menu utilities in this library, or to create your own
defined pop-up menu utilities for your application package.
A special software tool for these purposes, "MENU COMPLIER",
and the source files of this library are available in the
sub-directory, CD\MENU, of your DR-MOUSE system floppy.
