the installation of the driver, the </font><font
face="Times New Roman">DTC3181X/DTC3151X SCSI Host Adapter</font>
<font face="Times New Roman">should be shown in the section of </font><font
face="Times New Roman">SCSI Card</font><font
face="Times New Roman">under the System Properties window like
the following picture.</font></p>

of the </font><font face="Times New Roman">DTC3181X/DTC3151X
SCSI Host Adapter</font><font face="Times New Roman">like the

<p><font face="Times New Roman">then there are something wrong.
Follow the actions listed below will help to solve the problem:</font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman">The SCSI card does not install in
your computer or the SCSI card does not connect well into the
slot.</font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman">Install the SCSI card and make
sure the SCSI card is inserted firmly into the slot.</font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman">The fuse burned out.</font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman">To prevent the SCSI card form the
damage of the unstable power supply or short, the fuse will
temporary burns off and SCSI card does not work. To solve the
problem, please shut down the computer for few minutes and fuse
will recover automatically and the SCSI card works again.</font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman">The SCSI card is conflict with
other add-on cards such as sound card.</font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman">Try to remove all add-on cards
and boot computer again. If the scanner works, it is obvious that
there is the conflict between SCSI card and add-on cards.</font></p>

face="Times New Roman"> If there is one third-party SCSI card
installed in the computer, is it all right to connect the scanner

face="Times New Roman"> The scanner is compatible to
ASPI-compatible SCSI card. Since MiraScan, the TWAIN driver of
the scanner, supports standard ASPI-compatible SCSI card. For the
better performance, we recommend you to use the SCSI card bundled
with the scanner.</font></p>
