face="Times New Roman"> Assure that the power is on and cable is
attached well between SCSI card and scanner.</font></p>

READY.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">After the power on of the
scanner, scan module will move forward and backward twice for
self test. After the self test, the LED indicator stops
blinking and keeps light on. If the scan module does not move
at all, then make sure the lock switch is at unlock position.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">If the scan module moves
twice and the LED indicator keeps blinking, the scanner
likely has the hardware problem. Please contact the local
dealer or supplier for the support.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">Make sure the driver is
installed.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">After the installation of the
driver, the message,</font><font face="Times New Roman">Color
FlatbedScanner_2</font><font face="Times New Roman">,
should be shown in the section of </font><font
face="Times New Roman">Scanners</font><font
face="Times New Roman">under the System Properties windows

face="Times New Roman">, the possible reasons are:</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">The scanner power is not on.
Turn on the power</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">The cable does not connect
well between scanner and SCSI card. Check the cable connected
well.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">The SCSI ID is conflict with
other SCSI devices.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman">Make sure the SCSI ID of
other device is not at </font><font face="Times New Roman">2</font>
<font face="Times New Roman">(the default ID number for the
scanner). If there is the conflict, switched ID to other
number between 0 to 6.</font></p>
