face="Times New Roman"> The scanner is TWAIN compatible. With
this specification, the scanner can work with any Windows or Mac
applications that support the TWAIN standard. The TWAIN
compliance makes it possible for the scanner to integrate the
power of hardware and software. </font></p>

face="Times New Roman"> How to eliminate moire pattern? </font></a></p>

<p><font size="5" face="Times New Roman">A:</font><font
face="Times New Roman">These printing materials are output with
CMYK halftone cells at different screening frequency and screen
angle; that is, a non-continuous tone original like the photo.
Even we could not see the patterns with naked eye, once we use
magnifier or scanner, we could easily capture these moire
pattern. There is nothing wrong with the scanner. The MiraScan
driver provide the descreen function to remove these moire
patterns. To enable the function, please set the descree check
box </font><font face="Times New Roman">Normal</font><font
face="Times New Roman">. See the following picture.</font></p>
