     The  Western  Digital Caviar(TM) intelligent disk drives are available 
     in  80,  120,  170 (single or dual disks ), 200, 250, and 340 megabyte 
     capacities.    These   drives   are   suitable  as  new,  upgrade,  or 
     replacement  drives  for  installation in your IBM PC/AT or compatible 
     system.   The  Caviar  hard drive is an intelligent drive, which means 
     that  the  hard  disk  has  the  controller  circuitry  and 40-pin IDE 
     connector  attached  directly  to  the  drive.   It does not require a 
     separate  controller  card  if  your  system  provides  a  40-pin  IDE 
     connector on the motherboard.
     
     Because  of  its  compact  size  (1-inch  height), the Caviar drive is 
     easily  incorporated  into  the newest generation of small desktop and 
     transportable  PC/AT  systems.   The  Caviar  hard  disk is a 3.5-inch 
     drive  that can also be used in a 5.25-inch drive bay with a 5.25-inch 
     frame available from your dealer.
     
     With  a 1:1 interleave and an average seek time of less than 17 ms (15 
     ms  for  the Caviar AC2120; 14 ms for the Caviar AC2170 and AC2200; 13 
     ms  for  the Caviar AC1170, AC2250 and AC2340), the Caviar is designed 
     for   high-speed,   AT-compatible   systems  (80286,  80386SX,  80386, 
     80486SX, and 80486).
