* This driver for Windows NT V3.1/V3.5 supports ">16MB " system memory (not
  supported by AHA 154x driver).

[Driver installation while installing Windows NT]:

1. When NT gets to the screen telling you it will search for SCSI devices,
and that you can bypass this search by hitting "S", hit the S key.
2. Hit the S key again to specify a disk from the manufacturer.
3. Insert a disk with the above files on it and proceed.

Note: You can also allow NT to see you Tekram card as an Adaptec during
installation, then proceed with the instructions below for changing
the driver after NT is installed.

[Driver installation or update after Windows NT is installed]:

1. Enter the "Main" screen & select the "Windows NT Setup" icon
   to proceed.

2. Enter the "Options" & select "Add/Remove SCSI Adapters..."

3. You may see it shows "Adaptec 154x/164x". This is because
your adapter is 154x driver compatible & recognised as such.

4. Choose "Add" and select "Other" in the "Select SCSI
Adapter Option" for adding driver from driver diskette.

5. Insert the driver diskette in the proper drive (A: or B:)
and click the "OK" icon. The "Select OEM Option" screen
should display the message: "Tekram SCSI Adapter (DC-8X0/3X0)".
Then click the "Install" icon, and the system should proceed to install
   the drivers from floppy disk.

6. Re-enter the "Options" & select "Add/Remove SCSI Adapters..." to remove
the "Adaptec 154x/164x" driver by clicking the "Remove" icon and leave
the newly installed driver in place of it...

7. Shutdown the system & re-boot to complete the Driver Installation.
