   Upgrades previous versions of EZ-Drive to rev. 5.02U.
   You must already own EZ-Drive to legaly use this program.



USAGE
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
   Run EZPATCH and insert your original EZ-Drive diskette when
   prompted.  You will need a blank floppy diskette for the
   new version to be written to.  Have this ready before running
   EZPATCH.

Version 5.02U of EZ-Drive contains these notable features:

 * Support for large drives (528+Mbytes)

 * Microsoft(R) Windows(tm) 32-bit FastDisk Driver Supports
   large drives and LBA mode.  May be used in systems with
   translating BIOS, EZ-Drive does not need to be installed
   if BIOS is doing large drive support.  Run SETUP.EXE from
   within Windows to install this driver.

 * NT and OS/2 compatible mode.
   Allows drives installed with EZ-Drive to work with these
   operating systems.  Choose "Floppy Boot Protection DISABLED"
   from "Change Installed Features."

 * Complete on-line users manual and extensive help.

And these fixes since version 5.00. . .

 * Conner and Colorado tape backup using DMA/Concurrent mode fix.
   Tape drives by these manufacturers would sometimes lock-up
   when using DMA.

 * 528MB/540MB fix.
   If a slave drive was setup using EZ-Drive in a system that had
   a 540MB drive installed as a 528MB EZ-Drive would try and
   force it to use large drive support.



INSTALLING THE NEW EZ-DRIVE
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
First thing: ***** BACKUP YOUR HARD DRIVE! *****

Installing EZ-Drive for the first time WILL erase all data on
your hard drive.  Replacing an existing version MAY erase all
data on your drive.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE EZ-DRIVE INSTALLED
   1) Run EZ /MBR from the new EZ-Drive diskette.
   2) Re-boot your system FROM THE HARD DRIVE.
   3) Run EZ and select "Change Installed Features" to modify
      any settings.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EZ-DRIVE INSTALLED / NEW DRIVE INSTALLATION
   1) Install your hard drive(s).
   2) Run EZ.
   3) Follow on-screen instructions.

TO INSTALL THE WINDOWS FASTDISK DRIVER
   EZ-Drive need not be installed to use the Micro House
   32-Bit FastDisk Driver.
   1) Run Windows
   2) Choose File... Run...
   3) Enter in A:SETUP
