To use your Appian VGA drivers for Windows/3, place this diskette in
    drive A:, and when Windows SETUP presents you with a list of what it
    found in your system (including a VGA), use the cursor keys to select
    the video adapter, and then arrow down until you get to the choice
    "Other".  When SETUP asks you to put the diskette in A:\, add "WIN3" to
    that, making the complete entry A:\WIN3.   Setup will then show you a
    list of the drivers it found.

>>  If you are performing a complete install of Windows/3, after SETUP
>>  copies the file called HIMEM.SYS (about 93% done), a dialog box will
>>  pop-up and tell you that Windows needs the following diskette. 
>>  Unfortunately, it won't tell you what that diskette is.  

>>  If you type in A:\WIN3 again, SETUP will complete successfully.

    If you are updating an existing installation of Windows/3, there will
    be no such problem.
