UPGRADING INFORMATION

UPGRADE TERMS
1. Registered user upgrades within the same major program version (4.00
through 4.99) are FREE OF CHARGE when the form is accompanied by a
self-addressed and stamped 5.25"-diskette mailer containing a 360-kb
diskette. (If outside the USA, please enclose prepaid international
mail coupons [coupon réponse international] to cover the postage, or
US$5.00.) Requests not complying with these terms will be ignored.
2. Registered user upgrades from a previous major program version (3.99
and lower) are charged half of the corresponding license fee, 5% tax
(MD residents only), and shipping and handling.
3. Please allow for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.
PAYMENT TERMS
1. Single user registrations must be prepaid with a check or money order,
payable to FM de Monasterio, indicating the name and version number of
the software. COD orders not accepted.
2. Orders outside the USA must be prepaid in US funds drawn on a US bank.
Alternatively, enclose an additional $15.00 to defray bank charges for
processing foreign checks. Orders not complying with this requirement
will not be accepted, and any expenses incurred their procurement will
not be reimbursed.
3. Purchase orders (Net 30 days) are accepted from academic institutions,
large corporations, and government agencies within the USA and Canada.
Use of purchase orders requires a $5.00 surcharge.
CONFIGURATION
Indicate whether the cursor hardware accepts 16-bit (Word) or 8-bit (Byte)
commands. Word commands are faster but may not work in some (older) clone
systems. See VIZ.DOC on how to use 'VIZ /?H' to test your cursor hardware
commands.
If you are unable to get the above information, please describe your video
system in the space provided in the registration form.
