INSTALLING AND CONFIGURING DGIS
===============================

To install DGIS on your hard drive, for example in C:\DGIS, do the following:

	a) Ensure that the card is plugged into the computer's bus.

        b) Place this disk in your computer's floppy drive and
           enter the commands:

		A:
		INSTDGIS  C:\DGIS<CR>

           The DGIS files will be copied to the specified directory and
           the configuration program will configure DGIS for your system.
	   In addition, a file called AUTOEXEC.NEW will be written to the
	   C:\DGIS directory. This file will contain the commands which you
	   would need to add to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file if you would like
	   DGIS to be installed automatically when your system boots up.

        c) Add the commands in AUTOEXEC.NEW to your AUTOEXEC.BAT so DGIS is
           automatically installed when you turn on your system. If you do
	   not add the commands in AUTOEXEC.NEW into your AUTOEXEC.BAT file
	   you will have to manually install DGIS each time that you powerup
	   your system.

        d) Add any commands in CONFIG.NEW to your CONFIG.SYS file.
