Version    : BETA (not full tested)     

Installing the CD55A driver into an already installed NT system.

1) Format a blank Hi Density diskette and name this disk 
   (volume label) "TEAC CD-ROM".

2) Copy the following files to the "TEAC CD-ROM" disk.

        DISK 1
        TEAC4X.SYS
        TXTSETUP.OEM
        OEMSETUP.INF
        README.NOW (this read me file)

3) Boot NT from your computer system & log on.

   a. From the "MAIN" group double click on the 
      WINDOWS NT SETUP icon.
   b. Click on "OPTIONS" and select "ADD/REMOVE SCSI ADAPTERS".
   c. From the list of available SCSI adapters scroll down to 
      "OTHER MANUFACTURE PROVIDE DISK".
   d. Insert the diskette (volume lable "TEAC CD-ROM" into the 
      A: drive.
   e. Click on "INSTALL".  And allow the system to install the
      TEAC4X.SYS driver and add it's information into the system
      registry.
   f. When complete close all windows and shut down.
   g. Restart Windows NT.  Your Super Quad 4X CD-ROM should now
      be accessable.


To use the driver to install Windows NT from the CD-ROM disk, follow
the instructions in the Windows NT users guide.
