*SELECT DRIVE This menu displays the drives that were found on the SCSI host bus adaptor. Select the drive to be formatted. NOTE: You must partition the drive with Future Domain's FDFDISK or DOS's FORMAT partitioning program before using this program to format the media. *SELECT PARTITION This menu displays the available partitions on the selected drive. Select the partition to be formatted. NOTE: This program will not allow you to format NON-DOS partitions. You must also be running under DOS 4.x to format DOS 4.x partitions. *FORMAT PARTITION VOLUME LABEL: Enter a string up to 11 characters in length to identify the partition. (Optional) QUICK FORMAT: Select this option if you do not wish to verify or initialize the data area of the partition. INITIALIZE: Select this option if you want to write a pattern out to the data area of the partition. VERIFY: Select this option if you want to verify the the data area of the partition. (Same as DOS's format program) TRANSFER SYSTEM: Select this option if you want to make the partition bootable. (Only available if the partition is marked active) *GET PATTERN Enter a 2-byte hex number (4 characters with a value range of 0 - 9 or A - F each). Press ENTER to use the default pattern. *NO HELP There is no help available. *SELECT DRIVE LETTER Enter the drive letter where the system files can be found. NOTE: If any of the system files on the specified disk are damaged or missing, the system transfer will be aborted. *PARTITION DESTROY Enter 'Y' if you wish to format this paritition. NOTE: If you selected the Quick Format option, the data area of this partition will not be overwritten.
