(MAYBE BBS ADS) 2.>IntroDuction ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I started programming about a month ago (1/96) and this is my second PPE in release. My other was called -=KILLER's=- Pager. It is a Sysop Pager. I enjoy programming and am hoping to make plenty more PPE's. If you have ideas leave me a message at the conference listed in disclaimer. Well let's do the instalation now. 3.>Installation ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.) UNZIP if you already haven't SysCom.zip into any directory you wish. 2.) Configure Syscom.cfg to what you wish. Line instructions are included. 3.) Edit Sysops.cfg to list your sysops. Use the names that they use on the board. Make sure they are in the same order as in Sysops.ans 4.) Use an ansi editor like THEDRAW to edit sysops.ans. List the sysops in the same order as in Sysops.cfg. 5.)Run PCBSETUP from your dos prompt or PCB itself, and choose option B, then B again... edit your CMD.LST file and create a new line.. For the command key, choose C (the Sysop Comment Key), for the Security.. choose whatever you want.., Leave 'Charges' and 'Per Use' as the are, for the PPE/MNU File Specification, put in the complete path and filename to Syscom.ppe For example: CHARGES PER PPE\MNU SUBSTITUTION -or- COMMAND SECURITY MINUTES USE COMMAND LINE SPECIFICATION -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. C 10 0 0 C:\PCB\syscom\syscom.PPE 6.) Thats it...you should now have a working commentor. If you didn't know in Syscom.cfg make sure the second line has 1-? however many sysops you have listed in sysops.cfg. 4.>Support ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any problems you can leave me a message on my BBS.
