Line 5: 0 {or 1} Enter "0" if you are using InterPCB or "1" if you are using InterEcho. Registration will remove the "Unregistered Version" from flashing when executed by your users. 5) (Optional) Create or modify the following files. Each file can be graphic, language and/or security specific. If not found, IPNET will use default displays from it's internal setup. IPINTRO - File displayed to user when PPE initially executed IPMENU - Menu file displayed to user if Internet messages are also permitted, giving users a choice between an Internet addressed message and a Fido or other fido compatible node address. IPINFO - File displayed to user prior to entering a fido style address. | IPUINFO - File displayed to user prior to entering an internet style | address. Note: Nothing will be shown if not found. Note: If you wish language specific files, you must use the same extension as used for your PCBTEXT language files. i.e. if a user chooses Spanish, and your PCBTEXT language file has a .SPA extension, then the above files should have the same extension. e.g. IPINTRO.SPA will show a spanish version of the intro file. REGISTRATION: Registration and the subsequent insertion of the registration number into your configuration file, allows for the removal of the "Unregistered version" display. To register your copy of IPNET, please fill out the registration form (REGISTER.TXT) and mail it along with a small donation ($5, $10, $15, etc.) to me. Be sure to use the proper upper/lower case when filling in your name and BBS name, as they MUST match the way you entered them in the configuration file. ^^^^ Based upon information supplied on the registration form, I will pre- register you on my BBS. You will then be able to call SUNSHINE PCBOARD and pick up your registration number. COMPANIONS: Michael Walter has written an excellent PPE called the Internet Address Book, or IAB for short. It allows your users to maintain an online address book of people they write often both via the internet or Fidonet and can properly enter a message for InterPCB or InterEcho. However, it's not as easy to use as IPNET. Thus, I've written an IPNET which can act as a front end menu to Michael's IAB program. This version is available to all registered users of IPNET. Simply netmail me with a request for it and I'll be happy to send it along. SUPPORT: Remember, should you have any problems, questions or suggestions, be sure to drop me a message on SunShine PCBoard or via netmail. I can also be reached in the Fidonet PCBNET echo.
