That's why I created this one. Beware, it's still a beta version ! There are probably still some bugs in it. Please report any bugs to the author. þ INSTALLATION : ---------------- - Make sure you have unzipped the package using the -d option ! - Just put the following line in your logon script, it will display the last x callers to the user. !D:\PCB\PPE\LASTCALL\LASTCALL.PPE ------------------- | Change this to your PPE directory - Then, create a textfile for your logoff script, or if you already have one, like I do, just add the following line : For example : 192TEXT !D:\PCB\PPE\VIP-SHOW\VIP-SHOW.PPE GOODBYE !D:\PCB\PPE\LASTCALL\LASTCALL.PPE /UPDATE If you don't have a logoff script, just create a new file called 192TEXT and add the following : !D:\PCB\PPE\LASTCALL\LASTCALL.PPE /UPDATE @X0FGoodbye, @FIRST@ ! Name this textfile 192TEXT or something else, then replace line 192 of PCBTEXT with the following : %D:\PCB\GEN\192TEXT (Edit Path & Filename to suit your own configuration) The /UPDATE parameter tells LastCall it should update the lastcaller screen and not to display it. - Finally, edit LASTCALL.CFG Line 1 : Make this YES if you want to include local logins in the lastcaller list. The BPS field will be replaced by LOC. Line 2 : Enter the number of lastcallers you want in the list here. Maximum 20. Line 3 : Enter the maximum field length for the Name/Alias field. This way, you can add more fields on one line. Normal length is 20, but you can make it shorter. Keep in mind that this will affect the whole replacement line. Line 4 : Same as line 3, but this time for the Location field. Line 5 : Token 1 : The color-code for the STATS field unused- character. Token 2 : The color-code for the STATS field used- character. Line 6 : The STATS field unused character. For example '-' That would look like this : UD-W--C Line 7 : The most important line in the Config-file, the replacement line. This line will be used to display the callers. Enter color-codes, text and replacement codes here. You can use the following replacement codes : CODE : LENGTH : DESCRIPTION : %USER% CFG User Name %ALIAS% CFG User Alias, if none found, User Name is used %CALLS% 4 User's number of calls %KBUP% 5 KB Uploaded this call %KBDN% 5 KB Downloaded this call %BPS% 4 BPS rate called at %NODE% 1 Node number used %MINS% 3 Minutes used %TIMEON% 5 Time caller called %TIMEOFF% 5 Time caller logged off %LOCA% CFG User location %DATE% 5 User logon date %FUP% 3 Files uploaded %FDWN% 3 Files downloaded %STATS% 7 User Activity String: U - User Uploaded D - User Downloaded R - User Read Msg W - User Wrote Msg O - User paged Sysop G - User Groupchatted C - Carrier was lost %MSGR% 2 Number of messages read %MSGW% 2 Number of messages wrt. Line 8 : Token 1 : YES to do Name/Alias Shading, try it to see what it does. Token 2 : Color to use for the shading. Choose one of these : GRAY, BLUE, RED or GREEN Line 9 : Token 1 : YES to do Location Shading Token 2 : Color to use for the shading. Choose one of these : GRAY, BLUE, RED or GREEN Line 10 : Token 1 : YES to do BPS Shading Token 2 : Color to use for the shading. Choose one of these : GRAY, BLUE, RED or GREEN Line 11 : YES to use 0->O conversion. This will convert all zero's in the replacement line to O's. - Sofar for the Configuration File. Now edit the LCHDR and LCFTR file, located in the DATA\ directory. That's it and that's that. þ TO BE ADDED : ---------------- In the next version I plan to implement a today's/yesterday's/top/average stats option, for the calls, KB uploaded, KB downloaded, Messages Written, etc. etc. Maybe one of your suggestions ? þ AUTHOR : ---------------- This PPE was created by ViPER for -IPC-, Independant PPE Coders '95.
