NO warranty is assumed or implied. Devastation Enterprises Software is not responsible for any damage or loss caused by the use of this software. Now that we got through that stuff. Lets get on with the important info. I created this PPE because I wanted something that would show my callers the last couple of people that had called so they knew who was on the board and when to help promote message traffic. I looked at many other similiar programs but they all lacked one thing - Alias Support. None of them could be setup to display Alias's instead of real names if they where present or allowed. So I took it upon myself to create one and here it is. I made this program as easy to setup as I believe is humanly possible There are no text files to edit or lists to make just place a call to the .PPE somewhere in your login process. I put mine in the Login script using the following command: !I:\ppl\lastcall\lastcall.ppe Basically that's it. Lastcall creates all files on the fly! It will run as is but will display an error message that the .CFG file does not exist. This is an easy fix though. Each time the PPE runs it checks to see if the user logining in has SysOp level security. If the config file doesn't exist and the user does have SysOp security then it goes into config mode. Lastcall wil ask the Registration code ( see registration info below ), the board name, the SysOp name, whether you wish to use Alias' or not and the security level to leave out of the display. After geting this info from you Lastcall wil then create the config file and write all the information to it. Your saying to yourself "What happens when I register( and who wouldn't ) then I have to drop to DOS and edit the file anyway!". Well I thought of that and the answer is that by entering '*' at the Press Enter to continue prompt after the display you can re-enter any or all config info. Including your registration code. Well That about covers it..I hope that you enjoy this and all other Devastation Enterprises PPEs. Registration Information *************************************************************************** Registration for ths product is a measly $5. Once this PPE is Registered the small delay will be removed and in place of Unregistered on the lastcaller display your BBS name will be shown. Because the fee is so small I will not mail the codes to you you must pick them up at the Devastation Enterprises BBS at (517)523-4139. I will create an account for you on the board so you won't have to register. Just fill out the form below and send it off with a check or Money Order in the amount of $5.00 ( although I won't argue if you send more ). Call the board about 10 days later and your set.
