BLT200.ZIP, BLT.PPE, Bulletin PPE version 2.00 Beta SUB-BULLETIN list PPE. Allow a SUB bulletin listing UNDER the main bulletins Example bulletin menu: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= #1 For Sale bulletins #2 JOB bulletins #3 Wanted ads bulletin #4 Public Post Bulletins -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Line #1 in the BLT.LST would be a line like this: Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLT. This would display the file BLT. witch would look like this: !Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLT.PPE 1 Line 2 and 3 would be the same exept that the 1 after BLT.PPE would be a 2 or a 3 and so on. To configure this PPE, ADD it to the BLT.LST for every sub Bulletin menu you want, put the 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc after it to tell the PPE to display bulletin list #1,2,3,4,5,6 etc, then create a menu like this: Line #4 would be difrent though, in this version of BLT I have added a PUBLIC BULLETIN option. It is self maintaining, all you have to do is call the PPE like this: !Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLT.PPE P The "P" tells it to go into PUBLIC mode. **********For Sale bulletins********* #1 House for sale, down town #2 1986 mid size ford truck #3 486DX2/66 with SVGA and 1 GIG Save this menu as "BLT1.MNU" (Or whatever number you call the ppe with) Now make a file called BLT1.DAT to go with it that looks like this: Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLTS\HOUSE1.BLT Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLTS\86FORD.BLT Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLTS\486DX66S.BLT This file holds the path and name of the bulletin files for this SUB Bulletin menu, now in the Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLTS\ dir. create the bulletin files. I detest writing DOCs and don't do it very much so if this is TOOOOO MUCH (Or not enough), Call me VOICE at 417-683-3085 or DATA at 417-683-4953 OR E-Mail me at mukunda.modell@llpb.com There is a new Feature in this version of BLT.PPE! Now you can call the PPE with a P an the command line (Rather then the normal number), This puts it in PUBLIC mode, allowing the users to enter there own bulletins, it holds 5 bulletins and after 5 is reached it starts over with one, It is self maintaining, just set up a bulletin called PUBLIC POSTS or something and call it like this: !Z:\PCB\PPE\BULLETIN\BLT.PPE P No menus to make, thats all there is to it! There is no need to make a MNU file or DAT file for the PUBLIC bulletins, the PPE does that it's self. This PPE is Shareware! Please read REGISTER.DOC!
