************************************************************************* * ALLCALL.PPE * * A PCBoard 15.1 Sysop Utility PPE * * version: 1.0 date: 04/30/1994 * * (c) Copyright 1994 A. Segura/Fax~An~Ad Marketing, Inc. * ************************************************************************* Purpose: To perform the generation of a bulletin display file, complete with PCBoard @ color codes, containing a running list of all the valid callers to the board. Sample Output: ..................ALLCALL.PPE (c) COPYRIGHT 1994 by Al Segura.................. Date Time Min User User Sec Modem Totl On On On Name City Lvl Speed Call ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05-02 17:43 12 John Rakroshis Vienna, Va 15 9600 1 05-02 12:30 5 Dick Riggins Alexandria, Va 15 9600 2 05-01 22:06 2 Rob Fanardo Sterling, Va 70 14400 58 05-01 20:52 7 David Culpall Washington, D.C. 15 9600 20 =============================================================================== Installation: The PPE can be installed in valid desired PPE call locations, such as: the text display files SCRIPT0, or the PCBTEXT location 166. Usage: 1. When the PPE executes, it generates a text display bulletin called ALLCALL located in the same directory as the PPE file. The ALLCALL bulletin file can then be called as an INTRO file, a regular bulletin file, or any other text display file means. 2. The PPE itself can be placed in any location desired as long as the full path is entered in the callout. 3. The PPE must be called with two command line switches, such as: ALLCALL.PPE 20 500 where 500 = the maximum number of calls to place in bulletin and 20 = the security level to begin high- lighting to indicate as a supporting member. 4. I recommend placing the PPE in PCBTEXT location 166 and call such as: !C:\PCB\PPE\ALLCALL.PPE 20 500 (To do this, run program MKPCBTEXT.EXE, enter name of file such as PCBTEXT, select F3, enter 166, then enter the PPE call. 5. The program creates a .TMP file which it uses to generate the PCBoard color coded bulletin. It can be edited if necessary. Contents: 1. ALLCALL.DOC this file. 2. ALLCALL.PPE the subject PPE file. Registration: NONE!! There is no registration fee. Basic use of the PPE is FREE!!! However, if you feel compelled that my work is worth compensation, I will accept all offers. Thank You! Also, if you would like to provide suggestions for improvement to the PPE, bug reports, or just a note of thanks or hello, please forward those as well. See below for my mailing address and BBS number. (for PCBoard 15) ALLSTAT.PPE generates a text display bulletin, complete with PCB color codes, of statistics of all the callers to the board.
