Installation ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ KASAMenu can be installed anywhere. * Copy your brdm (menu) file into the KASAMenu directory renaming it to default.slc (or whatever you want - with the extension .SLC) * KASATICK.PPE is installed at the bottom of your .slc file ie:!C:\PCB\PPL\KASATICK.PPE OR Your actual path to the ppe your .slc file. THE FILE should be no longer thhan 21 lines. before adding the path to KASATICK.PPE I'VE included some sample .slc files that contain my path, so watchout KASATICK.PPE has 3 message files KASATICK.CF1 -.CF3 EACH FILE is to be no longer than 80 lines with one (01) character per line for your message one (01) character at a time. don't get fancy or try to put blank lines in it won't work. the program ignores blanks. * Go into the directory that contains the original PCB brdm file (usually pcb\gen) and delete the file. (make sure you backup the file or rename it to BRDM.OLD). Next, create a text file called BRDM and on line #1 just add the command: !:\\KASAMENU.PPE For example: !C:\PCB\PPL\KASAMENU.PPE Remember to do the same thing for any security specific menu files you might have and want your users at that level to be able to change the menu. Also, think about the BRDS file if you want to test the program or use the features yourself . * Load pcbsetup and add an option called "CHANGE" or whatever you want to the cmd.lst that calls the CHNGMENU.PPE program. This program is used by your users to change the menus. IMPORTANT NOTES and ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CHANGING PROGRAM SCREENS or CREATING ADDITIONAL MENU SCREENS: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Included in this package are files called KASAMENU.PCB & CHNGMENU.PCB. These are PCBoard color macro screens that are shown to your users when they wish to view or select any menu. You can edit, change or modify this screen. If you decide to add a menu or two, the most important thing to do is, copy your menu(s) to the KASAMenu directory and make sure that you name the file with an extension of .SLC (12 Charcters a must including dot & ext) ÚÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³ 3.
