Program: FindWho.PPE Written by: Bob Siejkowski BobKat Information Systems (718) 836-7272 Discription: This PPE allows you to preform a zippy search of your download.txt file. It autoconfigures itself (that is, take it out of the box and it works!), and supports multiple language files. Installation: Copy the PPE and the WELCOME file to a directory. Add this PPE to your command list file and select whichever security paramaters you would like to use. Compatibility: FindWho opens all files in shared mode, and is fully compatable in any environment supported by PCBOARD 15.0. Usage: FINDWHO [search string] If no command line parameters are specified, FindWho will display a security, language, and graphic specific WELCOME file if one is located in the PPE directory. You will then be presented with the date of the oldest record in your download.txt file. Simply enter the text string that you would like to zippy scan for. If a search string is specified on the command line, the welcome file will not be displayed, and FindWho will begin the requested search immeaditely. You may abort at any time by pressing CTRL-K. FindWho will track four stats. They are: 1. How many records were searched 2. How many matches were found 3. How may matches were uploads 4. How many matches were downloads These stats will be displayed at the end of the search. The requested search along with any errors are recorded to the callers log. And your USERNET.XXX file will be updated to display the status of the user. Registration: FindWho is not crippled in any way. There are no registeration reminders, no passwords, no nothing. But, FindWho is shareware. You may evaluate it for 15 days; however, if you wish to continue using it after the 15 day trial period, you will need to register. To register, please send five dollars ($5.00) to: Robert S. Siejkowski c/o S.I.software 7403 Fifth Avenue Brooklyn, New York 11209 Thanks for trying out FindWho. I think that you'll like it.
