Enter the sub-directory and un-Zip the files. Here is an example of how you might do this: E: (Go to E: drive) CD\ (Go to the root directory) MD SPELL (Create E:\SPELL sub-directory) CD SPELL (Go into the E:\SPELL sub-directory) COPY A:\SPELL110.ZIP (Copy the program from drive A:) PKUNZIP SPELL110.ZIP (UnZip the program into the directory) Now in PCB Setup you will want to edit the CMD.LST file and add SPELL as a new command on your BBS. The commands "B" followed by "B" from the PCBSETUP.EXE main menu will get you to "File Locations - Configuration Files" then select "Default CMD.LST File" and press F2. Add "SPELL" to the command list with SPELL.PPE as the command. Don't forget to add the full path to SPELL.PPE. Now load your BBS and type SPELL and you'll be up and running. Please note, users that have access to PCB Spell must also have sufficient security to kill a message. This way the spell checked messages can be saved and the old messages can be killed. CONFIGURATION FILE 2-3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you complete the installation you must then edit the SPELL.CFG file included in this archive to your needs. Read the "Sample Configuration File" and "Operational Details" sections below for instructions.
