Basically it scans the directories that you set in the CONFIG FILE and creates a bulletin that will display all the files uploaded for today. It of course is created in the ever-so-popular AMI/X style, that I try to achieve with PCBoard. INSTALLATION: 1. Go edit the CW-QF.CFG with a text editor. The first line should contain the number of conferences you have on your bbs. The next lines should contain the name of the conference, and then the next line is the path to your upload directory where all the new files are located. If you have more than one conference, then the next line should contain the name of the conference, next line the path, and so on. The next line should be the path to where you want the bulletin made eg, C:\PCB\GEN. The last three lines are the color codes you want to make the bulletin, so you can change it to suit your boards colors (thanks to Doeboy). The first color is the color of the text that says how many files were uploaded, megs, fake etc.. The next color is the color of the filenames, the last color is the color of the box. 2. I suggest putting CW-QF.EXE in your PCBTEST.BAT, so that it runs after each file is uploaded. 3. Include in your script file the line %C:\PCB\GEN\CW-QF.ASC to view the bulletin created by Quick Files. 4. Put the files CW-QF.EXE & CW-QF.CFG in your main PCBOARD directory and make sure that it is in your path (it should already be!) 5. If the program does not execute, or run properly, check to make sure that the CW-QF.CFG is in the same directory that you run the the executable in! FURTHER INFORMATION: That should pretty much cover it. I tried this with PCBoard v15.2b, and it seemed to work excellent to me.
