GETINFO PPE v1.0 by Practical Computer Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Installation: ------------- Installation is very simple. The best way to install GETINFO is through the LOGON.SCR (Logon Script). It will run at logon and check the users record for the required data and prompt them to enter it if it is found to be blank. Here are step-by-step instructions on installing GETINFO into your logon script: Step #1: Load up PCBSetup for the node you wish to install GETINFO on. Step #2: Cursor down to "File Locations" and hit enter. Step #3: Cursor down to "New User/Logon/Off Questionnaires" and hit enter. Step #4: Cursor down to the "Name/Loc of Logon Script Quest" and enter the location/filename of your logon script. Step #5: Press F2 to edit the script file and type the following text into your script: !C:\PCB\PPE\GETINFO\GETINFO.PPE You can have as many PPE's installed in this script as you want. Only one entry per line. NOTE: You can place GETINFO.PPE in any directory that you wish. We are using the C:\PCB\PPE\GETINFO\ directory in this example. Step #6: Exit PCBSetup and make sure you save your setup. Step #7: Repeat steps 1-6 for each node you want to setup with GETINFO capability. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Support: --------- This is a FREEWARE PPE.
