Simpsons "Complete" Theme 1  (simpthm1.zip)

I decided to make this theme after trying several that I found on the
internet that I was just not completely happy with.  It's not that they
were bad or anything, I am just very particular about my Simpsons 
paraphernalia and they left me unsatisfied.  

After reassesing my own library of Simpsons stuff, I decided to make my
own theme.  If you don't like it, that's your right.  :)  If you do, please 
email me and let me know.  I am also open to suggestions about any further
attempts I make.

		Installation of Simpsons "Complete" Theme 1

1.	Unzip the file, simpthm1.zip, to a temporary directory.

3.	The Simpsons bitmaps (simp_640.bmp, simp1024.bmp, and simp800.bmp)
	must go in the Windows 95 directory.  This is probably something
	like C:\Windows but not necessarily. 

4.	You need to install the fonts (.ttf files) onto your system.  To
	do this, you need to open your Fonts control panel and point it
	to the temp directory you unpacked this to.  Make sure to copy the
	files to your Windows directory (it's a little option box,
	make sure it is checked.)  You DON'T have to install these fonts
	on your computer for this theme to work.  In fact, since I don't 
	know if these fonts are copyright protected, you may not want to.
	If you don't use these fonts, just choose a font that you like.

5.	The rest (.ico, .wav, .Theme) go in your Plus Pack Themes 
	directory.  (again, this is probably C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes,
	but not necessarily)

6.	Now you are ready to change your theme.  Open your Desktop Themes
	control panel.  Select "Simpsons (256 color)" theme.  If it is not
	there, you did something wrong.  If you don't want to use the 
	provided fonts, be sure to unselect the fonts option.

7.	Enjoy!  :)

8.	I have provided several different bitmaps for those who like using
	the "correct" size bitmap.  In all honesty though, it requires far
	less memory to use the 640x480 bitmap and "Stretch" it to fit.  
	But, do whatever you want.  Also, there are quite a few extra icons
	provided with this theme just in case you are partial to some 
	other characters.

9.	Regarding the sounds, there are a few extras provided as well.  
	Play around with them.  Just because I like the way I set it up
	doesn't mean that you will.  Also, I recorded all of these sounds 
	myself.  If you really like them, you can download a lot more from
	ftp.winsite.com in the Win95\sounds or Win3\sounds directories.
	All the archives I have made are called SIMPWAVx.ZIP.  All the 
	sounds can be used in either Win 3.x or Win95.  

10.	Use whatever Screen Saver you want.  I have yet to find a good
	one of those.

I claim absolutely no credit for any of the quality work that is provided
as part of this theme.  The Simpsons is copyright protected.  Those fonts
might even be copyright protected (I can't remember where I got them from).
Basically, all of this stuff is the work of someone other than me.  I have 
merely compiled a nice, useful group of Simpsons stuff that works well as
a theme.  

I HAVE edited the bitmap.  I made it LARGER and cleaned it up a little bit
(my copy was scanned and looked a little messy).  But, once again, someone
else much more talented than I drew it originally.
