Paddies are small memos (mini-windows), comparably with the post-it-Notes confessed on all sides.

THIS PROGRAM IS SHAREWARE. THIS VERSION IS LIMITED IN THE FUNCTION (ON EVERY NEW PADDIE APPEARS A SHAREWARE-MESSAGE AND IN ADDITION, ONLY 2 PADDIES ARE SIMULTANEOUSLY POSSIBLE). YOU MAY USE THIS PROGRAM AS LONG AS YOU WANT, YOU ALSO MAY DISTRIBUTE IT FREE (IN CONNECTION WITH THIS README FILE). IF YOU WANT HAVE THE UNLIMITED VERSION, YOU MUST REGISTER: TRANSFER DM 25,- (CA. 15 $) TO ME AND SEND ME A SHORT E-MAIL (SO THAT I KNOW WHERE I SHOULD SEND YOUR VERSION).
YOU THEN RECEIVE YOUR VERSION PER E-MAIL.



Characteristics:	

- memo always in the display foreground (if you want).
- memo can be minimized to the title bar (like the rollup-windows of Corel-Draw).
- memo can be loaded from file or can be written to file.
- memo can also be printed as a matter of course.
- all usual clipboard operations.
- control too via icon in taskbar.
- data are stored and set up at the next start.

Installation:

After unpacking the ZIP-File, please run Setup.exe

Operation:

The Paddies symbol appears after activating the program in the taskbar to the right (a small Notepad). A new Paddie is generated with a double-click. This is also possible with the right mouse button. It appears (from bottom to top) the following menu:

- Exit:			it terminates the program and close all windows.
- All visible:		it makes all Paddies visible again.
- All hidden:		it makes visible Paddies invisible all.
- New:			it generates new Paddie.

- list of every Paddies, the text of the first line of the Paddies is always displayed, with the following submenu:

- Visible:		if checked, the Paddie is visible.
- Always on top:	it activates or deactivates the function with the same name.
- Minimized/Maximized:	it reduces Paddie to title bar, or vice versa.
- Print:		print appropriate Paddie.
- Close:		it closes appropriate Paddie, the data is deleted.

The Paddie itself offers the following possibilities:

Title bar (from the left to the right):

- hide.
- minimize/maximize.
- always in the display foreground/not always in the display foreground.
- close Paddie, all data is deleted.

in addition, the following menu appears on click with the right mouse button:

- Open:			load from file.
- Save:			save to file.
- Cut:			if text is marked, it is copied into the clipboard and then deleted, 			if no text is marked, it happens with the entire text.
- Insert:		it inserts text from clipboard.
- Copy:			it copies marked or entire text (see above) into the clipboard.
- Delete:		it deletes marked or entire text (see above).
- Properties
  - Always on top:		it activates or deactivates option with the same name.
  - Font			sets the Font
  - Color			sets the background-color
  - Make default		set this properties as default for new paddies
- Print:		print Paddie.
- Minimize:		it minimizes Paddie.
- Hide:			hide this Paddie.
- Close:		close the Paddie, the data is deleted.
