Stickies! Gizmos

These are 4 extremely small and simple utilities that you can use to make
Stickies! 3.1 and later even easier to use.  They're programs that you can
place on your Windows 95 desktop or on the tool bars of other programs, so
that certain functions are never more than a click away.

The gizmos are:

   NEWNOTE.EXE:  Creates a new Stickies! note

   NOTESETS.EXE: Opens the note set selector

   OPENSTFC.EXE: Opens the Stickies! file cabinet

   SURFNOTE.EXE: Surfaces all Stickies! notes (makes them pop on top of
                 your other open WIndows programs)

Installation is very simple--just copy these four files to any handy spot
on your hard disk, and then install them on the tool bars of other programs
that allow you to do that, or make shortcuts to the gizmos on your Windows
95 desktop.  The most logical place to store the gizmos is in the directory
that contains Stickies!, of course, but you don't have to do this; neither
they nor Stickies! care where each other is.

Using the gizmos is even easier--just perform some action that will make
Windows run the program, such as double click on the program in File
Manager or the Windows 95 Explorer, or double click on the program's icon
on your Windows 95 desktop.  Each program is very simple--it merely looks
to see if Stickies! is running, and if it is, tells it to perform the
action listed above.  That's all there is to it.  If the program doesn't
see that Stickies! is running, it will silently do nothing and exit.  The
gizmos don't issue error messages, open dialog boxes, or anything else.

The gizmos all work with Stickies! 4.0, and all but OPENSTFC.EXE work with
Stickies! 3.1.

These programs are freeware from Lou Grinzo Technologies.  They were inspired
