Duplicate Channel

Follow these steps to duplicate a persistent channel. Select a chat server under Microsoft Chat Web Access. Create the persistent channel, or select Managing Channels (Rooms) in the left frame, and then select a channel in the right frame. Choose Duplicate Channel in the toolbar. Type the name of the new channel in the Name box, and then choose OK. Be sure to precede the channel name with a valid channel prefix (#, &, %#, or %&). Channel prefix A one- or two-character prefix that identifies the type of channel. A number sign (#) denotes an IRC global channel. An ampersand (&) denotes an IRC local channel. A percent sign (%) followed by a number sign or an ampersand denotes an extended global channel or an extended local channel, respectively.
