Add a new ATL object

From the Insert menu, select New ATL Object….

1. Select "Simple Object" and click Next.
2. Name your object as necessary.
3. On the Attributes tab:
   You need only to support "Custom Interface".
   You can select "No Aggregation" if required.
   You do not need ISupportErrorInfo or Connection Points.
4. For Threading, select either:
   Apartment (recommended)
   Free
