Changing the Transcript Processor's Virtual Directory

If you change the location of the transcript directories and you plan to use the transcript processor to view transcripts from a Web browser, you must also change the location of the transcript processor's virtual directory.

To change the transcript processor's virtual directory

1. From the directory that contains the transcript processor files (C:\Inetpub\Chat\Transcripts by default), copy the Channels.asp, Default.asp, and Transcript.asp files to the new directory you specified in the Default location box.
2. From the console's Internet Information Server (IIS) version 4.0 snap-in, select Default Web Site.
3. Change the local path of the ChatTrans virtual directory to the directory you specified in the Default location box.
