OVERVIEW OF THE CHAT SDK SAMPLES
================================

The Samples directory consists of the following subdirectories, which  
contain samples demonstrating ways to use chat controls. Each 
subdirectory includes a text file with detailed information about the 
sample and how to install or build it.

ChatAd
------
This is a simple Visual Basic Application which provides monitoring 
capability for administrators. This sample uses Chat Control 1.1.

Checkrs
-------
This is a Visual Basic Application which enables you to play Checkers 
game with the people you are chatting with. This sample uses Chat Control 1.1.

Trnscrpt
--------
Trnscrpt contains a VB Application which provides a transcript of the chat 
session. This sample uses Chat Control 1.1.

ExecChat
--------
ExecChat contains a VB application for hosting Executive Chat Sessions. 
This application can be used in three modes: Host, Moderator and Special
Guest. This sample uses Chat Control 1.1.

Webdemo
-------
Webdemo contains five web pages that demonstrate the usage of Microsoft Chat
Control 1.1 with Visual Basic scripting.

Chat2000
--------
Chat2000 is a sample application that demonstrates how to use the Microsoft Chat 
Control 1.1 inside a MDI MFC application.

Chappy
------
Chappy is a sample application that demonstrates how to use Microsoft Chat Protocol 2.0
in a MFC application.

Nmstart
-------
Nmstart.htm is a web page that uses the Microsoft Chat Protocol 2.0 and also launches
NetMeeting between two members of a chat room using our nmstart.ocx and this web page. 

Prchckrs
--------
Prchckrs is a sample web page that uses the Microsoft Chat Protocol 2.0 and a Visual 
Basic 5.0 control to send data between to chatters using the chat protocol and play
a game of checkers.

Procx
-----
Procx has sample web pages on how to use the Microsoft Chat Protocol 2.0 with Visual
Basic Scripting. 

ChanFltr
--------
ChanFltr uses Microsoft Chat Protocol 2.0. This Visual Basic application will monitor
the chat server for new room names and changes in the chat room topic. A system 
admistrator can use this to monitor the chat room name and kill channels. 

Exec2
-----
Exec2 is a VB application that uses Microsoft Chat Protocol 2.0. This application
makes it easy for hosts, moderators and special guests to host special chat events.
