Document Conventions

To help you locate and interpret information easily, Microsoft Exchange Server Operations uses the following conventions.

Convention Description

ALL CAPITALS Acronyms and names of certain commands.

Bold Menus and menu commands, command buttons, property page
and dialog box titles and options, command-line commands, options, and portions of syntax that must be typed exactly as shown.

Initial Capitals Names of applications, programs, files, servers, and named windows; and directory names and paths.

Italic Information you provide, terms that are being introduced, and book titles.

Monospace
Examples, sample command lines, program code, and program output.

SMALL CAPITALS Names of keys on the keyboard.
