Microsoft Mail Connector

The Microsoft Mail Connector uses the application name of the interchange, MSExchangeMSMI, to represent the subcomponents of the service, including the interchange, the ATMTA, and all PCMTAs on a connector.

Diagnostics logging for the Microsoft Mail Connector is set by subcomponent, not by category. In the Event Viewer, the subcomponent name is the source of the service. Categories appear only in the Event Viewer.
