Formatting for Folder Names
To use backslashes (\) in folder names, the following formatting rules apply:
- A single backslash (\) is a folder delimiter that indicates a new subfolder. For example, folderA\folderB creates a folder called folderB as a subfolder of folderA.
- A double backslash (\\) indicates that the folder name contains one or more backslashs. For example, folderA\\folderB creates a folder called \folderB as a subfolder of folderA. Also, folderA\\\\folderB creates a folder called \\folderB as a subfolder of folderA.
