Setting Up Your Organization

Use the Setup program to install Microsoft Exchange Server on your Microsoft Windows NT Server computer. Before you set up your servers and sites, you should have a plan for deploying Microsoft Exchange Server. For example, you should determine your organization, site, and server names before installing Microsoft Exchange Server. You should also be familiar with Windows NT Server.

Important    Before running Setup, you should perform a complete backup on the computer where you will install Microsoft Exchange Server.
