Eudora2HTML 1.0 Welcome! You have downloaded a copy of Eudora2HTML, version 1.0. This readme.txt is the only documentation supplied. ==================================== NOTE: This version of Eudora2HTML is only for Windows 95/NT users. It was built as a Win32 console program and will not run under Win 3.1X (it might work with Win32s but that has not been tested). to RUN (at a DOS Command prompt): c:\>eudora2html ==================================== Eudora2HTML, as you have downloaded it, is a freeware version, and may be copied freely to another machine. ==================================== Theory of Operation: Eudora2HTML will convert a Eudora nickname file (nndbase.txt) to an HTML page (nndbase.html). In the process of conversion, any aliases will be preserved and any groups will be converted to folders that can be understood by Netscape's Mail client. The Eudora nickname file must be named 'nndbase.txt', if it is not, you must make a copy with this name. Upon completion, a file 'nndbase.html' will then appear in the current directory. To then use this as your netscape address book, open Netscape, and then select Address Book. Under file select 'import' and then find the nndbase.html file. This process will bring in the names and folders into Netscape. That's it! ==================================== For any problems: Contact me via EMAIL: Lou Beato beato@kodak.com ==================================== If NETSCAPE does not automatically load your address.htm file: Load Regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER:Software:Netscape:Netscape Navigator:Address Book. The value "File Location" must be pointing to address.htm in a directory that is correct.
