Sofware you Need: Microsoft ISDN Accelerator Pack 1.1 This will update the Dial-up Adapter with a version that supports Serial Equalization. Microsoft Dial-up Scripting tools and SLIP driver You will need the scripting tools and SLIP. For some reason (unknown to me) PPP will not work when Load Balancing two modems. My guess is that there is something that needs to happen between the PPP and the actual ISDN drivers. You MUST use SLIP! The Latest Version of SLiRP You will also need to install SLiRP on your shell account. SLiRP is used for a couple of reasons: - The server side also needs to know how to deal with data coming off of several devices. Most terminal servers (what you dial into at your ISP) support this feature, but for various reasons, don't count on being able to use it. Use SLiRP to provide this service. - The second main reason is that you need to be able to give both of your connections the same IP address. Unless you have a static IP address with your ISP, you will need to use SLiRP. It will let you use the same IP as many times as you want. (For a further info on SLiRP just read the docs). _________________________________________________________________ The views and opinions expressed in this page are strictly those of its author.
