Notes about TMan v1.10

TMan is a replacement for the Task Manager that originally ships with Windows 3.1.

TMan v1.10 features:

  - comprehensive access to all current tasks including priority settings

  - brief report of current time and available resources and memory

  - desktop management (includes a MINIMIZE ALL WINDOWS command)

  - a set of 10 fully customizable tools, accessible through a few keystrokes

  - a quick way to run a application or associated file

  - shortcut keystrokes for exiting or restarting windows

         To install TMan just use the setup program provided.
  A remover is also provided in the event that you don't wish to use TMan.


    This program is freeware. All that the author asks for is user feedback.

This program is copyrighted and should not be altered in any way. You are free
to distribute TMan as long as no fees are charged for distribution other than 
the cost of the media used.

1.10: fixed a problem with displaying system menus on a grey background;
      press 'A' for About box... 

1.09: fixed a problem with disappearing window when switching to Borland's
      Resource Workshop (the only app known to have this problem so far); also
      added accelerators for QuickTools

1.08: double-clicking close to the edges of the desktop will no longer cause
      TMan to exceed the desktop margins

1.07: press 'H' to toggle between displaying or not the hidden tasks

1.06: improved on the way the system menus for each task are displayed; if task
      is hidden or doesn't have a system menu then a disabled system menu icon
      is displayed

1.05: SHIFT+CLICK on any task button brings up special task settings: priority,
      visibility and positioning

1.04: now you can run and/or specify any file as a tool as long as it has an
      associated application

1.03: CTRL+CLICK on any task button now closes that task; improved displaying of
      DESKTOP and COLOR setting dialogs

1.02: now TMan pops up exactly where you doubleclick your mouse on the desktop
      instead of in the center of the screen

1.01: fixed a lock-up problem with closing an application by doubleclicking the
      system menu copies; fixed a problem that occured when switching to a task
      that had an open dialog box; also added RUN MINIMIZED
