HOW TO INSTALL -------------- To install, copy ANIMOUSE.* to your windows directory and run it with the Program Manager's "Run..." command. It should now be displayed as an icon. Double click the icon to get the settings window for Animouse, which allows you to change the cursors. To make Animouse change the cursors every time you run Windows, choose "Install..." at the top of the Animouse window. All of the video drivers supplied with Windows work fine, but some custom video drivers that come with video cards cannot change the cursor without making it disappear momentarily while it changes. When Animouse animates the cursor through one of these drivers, it blinks between each frame. You can use the speed control to slow down the animation to a tolerable speed, or stop it alltogether. Most of the cursors are pretty good even without the animation. REGISTRATION ------------ Support the shareware concept of try-before-you-buy. You may distribute Animouse freely, as long as it is unmodified, and you may use Animouse for a trial period of 30 days. After 30 days, if you continue to use this software, you must pay a registration fee of $10 plus $2 S&H to: Troy Beckstrom 2318 Second Avenue #492 Seattle, WA 98121 Specify 5.25 inch or 3.5 inch disk to receive the latest registered version, more cursors, and other programs by the same author.
