IdentD for Windows Copyright (C) 1996 LooneyBin Software All Rights Reserved. ------------------------------------- Thank you for downloading IdentD for Windows*! This program is a stand-alone Ident Server that runs under Windows* 3.1 or higher. We have also tested it on Windows* 95. The single-user program is not fully RFC 1413 compliant; however, it will appear to be to any querying systems. To use the program, simply place it in any directory and run it. Hit "SETTINGS" and fill out the form. Normally, you will just need to change the username field. The default port number is 113 as standardized in the RFC document. The information will be saved to IDENTD.INI in your Windows* directory. After you fill it in once, you should not need to again unless your username changes. If you have any questions, comments, or bug reports, you can contact us at ace@castle.net or avly@castle.net. If you find this program useful, you are encouraged to send something to the authors... an email, a postcard, and, of course, money.
