PDSWIN is a Windows viewer for NASA Planetary Data Systems
(PDS) image files.  See the program's Help for information
on how to order images on CD-ROM from NASA. A few of these
images can also be found on some computer bulletin boards that
support space and astronomy files.

Features include:
  File types displayed:
    Compressed (.IMQ)
    Browse (.IBG)
    Uncompressed (.IMG)
  Zoom.
  Brightness/Contrast control.
  Display file label information.
  Multiple windows.
  Images can be:
    Printed.
    Saved as .BMPs.
    Copied to the clipboard.
  Drag and drop.
  Context sensitive help.
Features added in version 2.0:
  Support for most NASA image files on CD-ROM.
  Browse buttons.
  Auto contrast stretch.

  Enhanced brightness/contrast control.
  Load color palette.


Requirements:
  '386 or better.
  4 Meg. RAM
  Windows 3.1.
  256 color VGA

Installation is simple, just copy PDSWIN.EXE and PDSWIN.HLP
to any convenient directory.  Use Program Manager's File/New
function to add it to a program group.  Use File Manager's
File/Associate function to enable double clicking on image
files.

To view an image:
  Run the program and use File/Open to open an image
                        or
  Drag and drop an image file on the program's icon.
                        or
  Double click on an image file in File Manager.
