DESCRIPTION

Are you tired of not being able to find that buried window? Would you
likely to instantly locate any window on your desktop? Would you like
to be able to quickly make a window stay on top or move all the way to
the back?  Need to hide that window before the boss sees it? Would you
like to know what invisible windows are running on your desktop?  Are
you tired of being nagged when you want to exit Windows?  Are you 
bored with the same old menu names?

WinChanger can help with all of these things. And it is directly
accesible from almost all of the windows on your screen. Switching
windows is a breeze even with all windows maximized.  Just click on
the system-menu box in the upper-left corner of most windows.  
WinChanger is unobtrusive uses very little memory and does not use any
timers.

WinChanger comes with the Program Initiator.  This is a utility which
allows you to run programs by directory/filename, by Program Manager
group/item, by history of programs recently run, or by maintaining a
list of favorite programs.  Favorite programs may be configured to be
located at specific screen coordinates or in various modes.

WinChanger is an add-on Windows utility that operates by adding items
to the system-menu.  The system-menu is available from almost every
window on the desktop by left-clicking on the system-menu-box in the
upper-left corner of most windows.  WinChanger is for Windows 3.1 or
higher.



INSTALLATION

Installation may be performed automatically by running WCSETUP.EXE.
If the automatic installation fails or you prefer to do a manual
installation, please refer to the INSTALLATION section of the
WinChanger help file (WCHANGER.HLP).

WinChanger may be started by clicking the WinChanger 2.1 icon, running
WCHANGER.EXE or by choosing WCHANGER.EXE from the File Manager.

Once WinChanger is running, its menu may be accessed at any time by
bringing up the system-menu of most windows.  This is the menu that
contains things like "Restore", "Minimize" and "Close" and is usually
available by left-clicking on the small box in the upper-left corner
of the window.



LICENSE

This program is shareware.  You may use the program and evaluate it
for no more than 30 days.  After this time, you must either register
WinChanger or remove it from your system.  By using WinChanger, you
agree to these terms.  Failure to comply with this condition is a
violation of U.S. and international copyright law.



REGISTRATION

WinChanger may be registered by mail. WinChanger may also be registered
online by Compuserve users by GOing SWREG (Registration ID 4900).
Upon receipt of your payment, you will be supplied with a
"Validation Code".  This code is entered into the program along
with the "Registration Name" of your choice.  The "Registration Name"
and "Validation Code" are entered by selecting "Register" from the
configuration-panel's main menu.

Benefits of registering WinChanger:
1) No more nagging.
2) Your "Registration Name" will appear in place of <Unregistered copy>
   on the configuration-panel.
3) Updates will ALWAYS be free to registered users.  Future versions
   will be made readily available for download.  You should be able to
   find them the same place you found your current copy of WinChanger.
4) Suggestions by registered users will be incorporated into future
   versions of WinChanger.
5) Registering supports the try-before-you buy shareware system.

The order form is available by:
1) Selecting Help on the Option-panel's menu and selecting "Order"
2) Printing file ORDER.TXT
If you do not have a printer, be sure to include all of the
information requested in the order form with your check or money order.



DISTRIBUTION

You may freely (in fact, you are encouraged to) copy and distribute
copies of the archive file as WINCHG21.ZIP so long as:
1) no files are added or deleted from the archive
2) no files in the archive are altered
