Game Developers Magazine Created by Phil Inch What is it? This computer-based "magazine" is aimed at anyone with any interest at all in developing games, animation, music, or in fact any form of entertainment software for IBM and compatible computers. This magazine can be run from floppy disk, space permitting, or from your hard disk. It can exist in any directory, however as this is a monthly publication, keeping each issue in a seperate directory is highly recommended. If installing on a hard disk, the following directory structure is suggested: \MAGAZINE - base level directory, empty for now \00000001 - issue 1 files \00000002 - issue 2 files .. etc .. To view the magazine, change to the drive and/or directory in which you have installed the files, and execute the batch file 'RUNME'. Hardware Requirements: This magazine should execute faultlessly on just about any machine in existence. Please let me know if you have any problems. Programs bundled with the magazine may have specific hardware requirements and these will be mentioned within the magazine and/or documentation contained in those programs. Distribution Information: This product is public domain, meaning you can distribute the files as much as you like. Software "bundled" with the magazine may not be public domain and you are advised to check the documentation which comes with this software. Shareware distributors are allowed to charge for this magazine, but only an amount which reasonably covers the costs of duplication. No charge should be made for the magazine itself.
