============================================================================= Who said that you cannot change your pointers in OS/2 2.x? Copy these files in e.g. C:\PTR directory, change the 'path' variable in the SetUserPointers.Cmd and run it. Then reboot your machine and voila! you have some new pointers. These are actually similar to Microsoft Windows' pointers (they call 'em "cursors" yeah right) but you can edit the .PTR files with your ICONEDIT.EXE. If you edit a .PTR file and save it with different name you must edit the SetUserPointers.Cmd and run it again. ShowUserPointers.Cmd lists pointer information in OS2.INI SetUserPointers.Cmd adds pointer information in OS2.INI DefaultPointers.Cmd resets the default system pointers If you copied the files into a FAT partition they are probably named as SHOWUSER.CMD SETUSERP.CMD DEFAULTP.CMD Thanks to Dann Lunsford (1:203/726) who presented the idea in the Fidonet OS2 echo. You may use these files freely and at your own risk.
