SYMPTOM

     CHKDSK is not compatible with Stacker 4.0 drives.

SOLUTION

     Overwrite the CHKDSK.EXE file on NWDOS directory with the new CHKDSK.EXE
     file.

     This version of CHKDSK.EXE includes a /NS command line parameter that you
     can use to tell CHKDSK not to do internal Stacker checking.  This can be
     used so that CHKDSK is compatible with Stacker 4.0 drives.

SYMPTOM

     Speed issues NWCDEX CD-ROM extension driver are occurring.

SOLUTION

     Overwrite the NWCDEX.EXE file on NWDOS directory with the new NWCDEX.EXE
     file.

     This is a German version of NWCDEX that can help with some speed issues
     with NWCDEX CD-ROM extension driver.  This file also fixes some other
     minor issues.

SYMPTOM

     Users are experiencing problems with the DPMS.EXE file that ships with
     Novell DOS 7.

SOLUTION

     This DPMS.EXE file is a more current version of the DPMS.EXE file than
     the one that ships with PERSONAL NetWare or Novell DOS 7 (PNW or NWDOS7).
