P L E A S E R E A D T H I S ! ----------------------------------- 1. Opening Words ---------------- TO MAKE IT CLEAR : The name has nothing to do with the drug Ecstasy ! We are clean (we even never used), so please follow us ! 2. Introduction --------------- This is still a beta release, so please forgive us for this buggy version, better get in contact with us. If you encounter any problems with playing one of your favourite modules, don't hesitate and send it right to us! Please include a little text where you have found the 'bug' and which player plays it correctly. 3. Important Updates -------------------- - We (LDi) joined Virtual Design , but this name will change soon. - Our Distro-Sites may now use the XTCLOGO.ANS to put it on their BBS. - I added a 2nd demo-oriented part to my BBS with the name Virtual Vibes BBS. So don't get confused. If you dare to enter , simply presse ESC and D at the login-prompt. 4. Known bugs ------------- The Farandole loader doesn't recognise all of the commands defined in this standard. (We only had three modules for our tests) We encounterd some problems when the player is running under OS/2 or Windows(95) and a gus-driver (like the manley driver) is loaded. At the moment there is no possible solution except removing the driver, we are working on this. Further Bugs: No further bugs known yet. (A lot of them have been succesfuly removed) If you find some (or more), please send your reports to one of the addresses below via Net or Crashmail, possible modules via fileattach. THANX A LOT FOR YOUR SUPPORT! 5.
