AWEMod v.02 ----------- What is AWEMod? --------------- AWEMod is the world's first publicly available modplayer for the Creative Lab's SoundBlaster AWE32! It was written by Judge Dredd (Vincent Vu) of Infiniti 2001. The first version was released on 11-27-94, and was written in the period of one week. Notes ----- Rather than having you wait several months for an acceptable release (one with full Protracker support), I decided to release AWEMod in monthly/weekly installments (depends on my study habits). Hopefully this will be the first of a wave of modplayers and utils for the AWE32. My mailing address has been changed, look to the end of this document to find out my new one. (Good for morbius. Now he doesn't have to receive mail for me). Another version of AWEMod v.02 that was posted on alt.binaries.sound.util, contains an old mail address of mine, please disregard that one, and mail to my new one (I finally have a permanent address!): jdredd@netcom.com Features! --------- + Currently supports Protracker mods only. :( + Reverb/Chorus Effects + Cool ASCII display :) + It works! :) How to use AWEMod ----------------- Usage: awemod modfile.mod These are the keys while the mod is playing. + Increase volume. - Decrease volume. ] Increase reverb effect.
