It lets you display, search and manipulate lists. It allows for multiple databases which keeps your information better organized and more manageable. It also allows you to switch between databases. The display function will view up to eleven names and numbers on the display at once and lets you quickly scroll up or down through the list. INSTRUCTIONS: Download the program to the HP. Switch to the new directory and press . It will prompt you for the name of a database. Anything is fine as long as it is not an HP48 command. You will be presented with a menu with the following commands: This lets you add a name to the list This lets you search the list for a given name. If the search string is found you will be presented with another menu and the following three choices: takes you back to the main menu without doing anything. deletes the entry from the list. allows you to edit the given entry. You are presented with the edit menu and the following choices: returns you to the previous menu and the three choices above. allows you to change the number. Hit ENTER when done then either press or allows you to change the name. Hit ENTER when done then either press or . If the search string is not found it will return the remainder of the list that is lexically greater than the search string to the display. This allows you to search large lists alphabetically. lets you view the list on the display. Scroll up and down quickly using the up and down arrow keys. Use right-shift and the arrow keys to go to the top or bottom of the list. Press ATTN to return to the main menu. lets you switch between databases or create new ones. exits the program. **MAKE SURE YOU EXIT THE PROGRAM THIS WAY OTHERWISE YOUR CHANGES WILL BE LOST**. Comment: This is my first attempt at programming the HP48. I'm sure it's a little crude. I tried to work out all the bugs but I'm sure I didn't catch them all.
