They are NOT the complete ³ ³ instructions, but just a dehydrated description of how to launch the ³ ³ program and use its basic functions. Read each DOC for complete details. ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ Other new features on this disk: - Complete Index of Goodies Disks #1 through #7 (GD7.IDX) - Global Goodies-Disks File-Finder by name, keyword, or author (FETCH) - Point-and-Click PC-to-48 file sender (SEND) Please read all of this little document. Most commonly asked questions are answered here. Thank you. This is Joe Horn's personal collection of favorite HP 48 goodies, disk #7. It contains many excellent programs by many excellent programmers. Most of these files were downloaded from HP's Corvallis bulletin board system. The files are contained in subject-oriented subdirectories. List FILEINFO.SRC for a complete listing of all the files and a brief description of each. The Norton FI utility was used to "attach" these descriptions onto every file and subdirectory on the disk; if you own FI, you will enjoy using it with the Goodies Disks. FI will also display the author's name if you use the /L switch. If you are a 4DOS user, you can automatically see file descriptions with DIR, but the authors' names will not be displayed (see 4DOS note below). It is a registered trademark of JP Software, Inc. It makes DOS act the way you've always wanted it to. If you don't have it, get it! On the other hand, MS DOS version 4 (called DOS 4) sucks. If you have it, upgrade to DOS 5 immediately!] Files with the same name before the extension are all related. For example, FRED would be a downloadable binary; FRED.SRC would be its source code (possibly commented); FRED.DOC would be its documentation; etc. To copy a file into the HP 48, you MUST specify the entire name; e.g. "FRED.LIB". Previous Goodies Disks included .ASC files for non-listable programs. This is no longer necessary; see TASC.DOC on this disk. Ditto for GROB .SRC files. All listable files have their authors' names somewhere in the first few lines. If I couldn't figure out who wrote it, it'll say "By ?". I have tried to provide documentation of some sort for every file on this disk. If you know who wrote a file "by ?", please let me know so that proper credit may be given. See CREDITS.DOC for credit updates. Apologies to those whose files I accidentally mangled during editing, or miscredited. Warm thanks to all authors whose works lurk herein. Good job! These files are not guaranteed in any way; use at your own risk. For EduCALC Goodies Disk Customer Support, see SUPPORT.DOC on this disk. - - - Joseph K.
