BLIND, a huge-font 2-level stack display program, by Mika Heiskanen; this little doc by Joe Horn. MINI-INSTRUCTIONS: Just run it. Press CONT to exit. WHAT IT DOES: Stack levels 1 and 2 are shown in a font twice as big as usual. Stack levels 3 and 4 are not shown; multi-line mode is not supported; it does not affect the interactive stack nor edit mode; and the stack display is 11 characters wide instead of 22, so anything longer than 8 characters gets truncated. Exit BLIND by pressing CONT. WHY: Since everybody is writing tiny-font stack displays which show 5 or more levels of the stack, I posted a request for somebody to write a 2 or 3 level stack with a BIG FAT FONT, for use by the visually impaired, or in low-light conditions, or with the overhead projection LCD panel. Just a few days later, Mika emailed me this BLIND program. Try it; it's a sight for sore eyes! I've already used it in a dim room with great success. I asked Mika if he was going to post it to this newsgroup. He replied: > You are free to do whatever you want with it, I don't think I'll > post it anywhere myself though. It is just a quick hack after all. Thanks, Mika! Mika later emailed me this note: > Just in case you haven't noticed it yourself, the stack scrolling > while the editline is active works properly only when the editline > is initiated. If you do put the program in GD11 please mention this > somewhere. > > For example: Press 1 to start edit line, press newline, press > backspace. ==> Stack line 1 is displayed only partly.
